Life today is so unpredictable. Sometimes, pinupuri ka because you are great, sometimes masama tingin sayo kasi hindi mo na-meet yung expectations nila. Naghihirap ka nga pero wala namang nakaka-appreciate... well, that's life... sakyan mo lang yan...

Romantic Compatibility
Provided by Astrology.com
Scorpio & Pisces
When Scorpio and Pisces make a love match, theirs is a splendid union of much respect and understanding. These mates share the same Element -- Water -- and thus have keen insight into one another's minds and hearts. Scorpio is very profound and covert, often caught up in their own secret plans, while Pisces is idealistic and looks for the nuances of a situation. However, Pisces also has a tendency to withdraw into their own mind, and can forgive Scorpio for being mysterious or withdrawn at times.

Both Signs are intuitive and in touch with the subtleties of human interaction. Scorpio can help Pisces fulfill dreams and ambitions -- to turn ideas into reality. The Scorpion will provide a steadfast foundation for the relationship to revolve around, and the more ephemeral and intuitive Fish will become entangled in Scorpio's web. In return, Pisces offers gentleness, kindness, and sympathy, which Scorpio admires and appreciates. Scorpio is interested in certain material comforts and intense emotional dramas, and at times cannot understand the simplistic, charitable attitude of Pisces. Their long-term aspirations can be completely unalike. Once they can understand and overcome this difference, theirs will be a very rewarding relationship.

Mars and Pluto rule Scorpio, and Jupiter and Neptune rule Pisces. Mars is the ancient God of War, and Scorpio individuals are living proof of this aggressive, courageous, daring and sometimes-belligerent influence. When Pluto combines with Mars, Pluto comes to symbolize new beginnings. Scorpio can take it, but they can also most certainly give it. Jupiter's rule of Pisces represents philosophy, expansion and excesses. The Neptunian influence gives Pisces a dreamy aura and a love for popular culture and media. Pisces dreamy, ethereal energy softens their Scorpio love's rough edges. The composite power of these four planets creates a balanced relationship, one of drama and emotional intrigue; this is a true celestial bond. However, a Scorpio mate must let their beloved Fish swim about a bit; a sensitive Pisces will suffocate under too many demands.

Scorpio and Pisces are both Water Signs. They're so compatible because Water is a tangible, physical entity, and both Signs appreciate and use this characteristic to their advantage. The destiny of a Pisces is to bring people together, and when this energy meets Scorpio's intensity and tenacity, there is no stronger bond. Also, Scorpio has an absolutist view of life; everything is either golden or tarnished. A patient Pisces opens the world up to their Scorpio mate, allowing them to see the bigger picture rather than just all that minute detail. Scorpio could grow weary of Pisces's unsteadiness, and Pisces may see Scorpio as self-absorbed and insensitive to their emotional needs. Still, it's not beyond these partners to seek out and find a compromise.

Scorpio is a Fixed Sign, and Pisces is a Mutable Sign. Scorpio puts their energy into one thing at a time, but Pisces skips around to wherever their feelings take them. Pisces, as a Mutable Water Sign, then, molds easily into their Scorpio lover's life and pastimes. In turn, Scorpio needs to give Pisces the freedom to enjoy personal interests. A Pisces can show a Scorpio that flexibility can be fun and exciting, that compromise can be reached without a big fight or struggle. The energies of a Scorpio and a Pisces feed off of one another's energy well, making for a powerful and emotionally satisfying union.

What's the best thing about a Scorpio-Pisces love match? Their similarly intense emotional natures, their shared sensitivity to the undercurrents of life, to the more ethereal magic of love. This is a relationship of harmony and fulfillment. Scorpio and Pisces both live empathetically and seek true, profound commitments, and this connection will keep the ties strong and their love enduring.
*EHEM, EHEM, EHEM* hehehehe.

GENERAL ELECTIONS 2006: CONCLUSION

hmm... eto na siguro yung general elections na sobrang inenjoy ko... siguro kasi this will be my last general elections in lasalle.. kasi hopefully i will be graduating in october 2006. i really devoted most of my time here, and i'm proud to say na vice governor ako ngayon for the college of business and economics. sobrang ngayon ko na-appreciate ang pagiging tapat ko.. dahil alam ko may responsibility ako na dapat kong gawin, at alam ko na ang ipinaglalaban ng tapat ay para sa estudyante talaga. nakatulong din sa akin ngayong term na to ang schedule ko, 230-440 lang pag MWF (di ako pumasok sa finares) at 6-910pm lang pag TH (buong araw campaign, whooohoo!)

so yun, start ng monday, campaign na kagad. kailangan todo kayod kasi dehado ngayon, derecho batch ang 103 at 105 at straight ang 104. mejo delikado, kaya dapat ayusin talaga. mejo naging pasaway ako throughout the campaign kasi late ako. hindi ko kasi talaga kaya gumising ng maaga. ayan tuloy, napapagalitan ako ni john bello, our college assembly president.

so ayan sila nung nag cacampaign, di pwede na walang picture kahit papaano.

so here comes my favorite part sa isang general elections... ang flag sweep at miting de avance. ako ang naging representative ng cbe for flag sweep meaning ako ang naghawak ng flag at nanguna tumakbo sa buong campus. hahaha. hindi ko talaga makakalimutan to.

Image hosting by Photobucket

Image hosting by Photobucket

this was me when the college of education CAP jielene sato was presenting their candidates. ako kasi nsa gitna, nagwawagayway ng tapat flag... angas eh no?

come last day of voting, mawawala ba ang "camwhoring." =)

Image hosting by Photobucket
ayan yung isa pang picture with cbe people.. hehehe

Image hosting by Photobucket
that is our EB before the announcement. syempre kasiyahan muna. they had their last speech, kasama na ang lokohan, tapos ang GE awards 2006 hosted by mito and janice. laugh trip talaga.

and then, ayan na. unti-unti na dumadating ang mga nagbilang sa comelec... tumahimik na ang lahat.

i am proud to announce that nanalo si JOHN BELLOSILLO as our CAP for CBE. yeah! tapos sa BnE 2006, unfortunately, only NANCY CHUA won, and sa BnE 2007, sina MADEL BALANE, MEG CUASAY AND JORMAE CHUA ang mga nanalo. None of our BnE 2008 candidates won.

But still, winners pa rin sila for us. It's not their loss. It's the loss of their batch.

Nanalo din sina Jielene Sato, CAP for CED and Lesley Pascual, CAP for COS.

And the moment of truth...

MIKA MONTINOLA: "Ben Cabigas once said that we swept the executive board... let me say it again.. for we swept again the executive board 2006!"

Image hosting by Photobucket
a shot at the exective board...

And then there was a rush of excitement. nagtatalunan kami lahat, some nag iiyakan. sobrang ang saya. BACK TO BACK SWEEP MAN! woohoo... this just shows how lasallians really want a tapat leadership... astig...

So yun nga, VICTORY PARTY next.

Image hosting by Photobucket
these are the core people of tapat... enjoying the whole night... wooohoo!

Image hosting by Photobucket
these are the TAPAT 103 PEOPLE na patuloy sa pagiging tapat... naks!

eto talaga siguro yung sobrang mamimiss ko sa lasalle... one memory that i will cherish for a lifetime...

until next post.
ciao.

COUNT YOURSELVES IN THIS GENERAL ELECTIONS 2006!

Image hosting by Photobucket

History will remember the school year 2005-2006 for all the fundamental changes we collectively achieved.

We’ve won in various fronts including issues on liberalizing the dress code and the attendance policy. We were able to maximize student representation in the student discipline process by giving access to free legal consultation provided by the Free Legal Assistance Group (FLAG). We continue to push for legislation that will pave the way for a National Students’ Code, one that protects the rights of all students wherever they may be. We have incessantly engaged in the fight for credible leadership and good governance in order to push for lasting and meaningful changes for our country. Overall, we lead key initiatives not just in issue advocacy but also in nation-building.

A heightened student governance, successfully lobbying for more liberal university policies coupled with the manifestation of a strong, vigilant and an action-oriented citizenry, proves that Lasallians are indeed ready to take it to the next level.

So this year, it’s time to believe, commit, and say: “COUNT ME IN!”

• COUNT ME IN to render my voice and partake in initiatives that optimize student representation
• COUNT ME IN to join efforts in ensuring quality of student services across all parts of the University
• COUNT ME IN to make the most of a Lasallian education and be a true resource for Church and Nation
• COUNT ME IN to be a voice of hope and actively work to uplift the plight of our country
• COUNT ME IN to demand leadership of utmost integrity, credibility, and accountability both here in and beyond the University

In the spirit of unity and collective effort, make this election count.

Count yourself in.

VOTE STRAIGHT TAPAT.
