GENERAL ELECTIONS 2006: CONCLUSION

hmm... eto na siguro yung general elections na sobrang inenjoy ko... siguro kasi this will be my last general elections in lasalle.. kasi hopefully i will be graduating in october 2006. i really devoted most of my time here, and i'm proud to say na vice governor ako ngayon for the college of business and economics. sobrang ngayon ko na-appreciate ang pagiging tapat ko.. dahil alam ko may responsibility ako na dapat kong gawin, at alam ko na ang ipinaglalaban ng tapat ay para sa estudyante talaga. nakatulong din sa akin ngayong term na to ang schedule ko, 230-440 lang pag MWF (di ako pumasok sa finares) at 6-910pm lang pag TH (buong araw campaign, whooohoo!)

so yun, start ng monday, campaign na kagad. kailangan todo kayod kasi dehado ngayon, derecho batch ang 103 at 105 at straight ang 104. mejo delikado, kaya dapat ayusin talaga. mejo naging pasaway ako throughout the campaign kasi late ako. hindi ko kasi talaga kaya gumising ng maaga. ayan tuloy, napapagalitan ako ni john bello, our college assembly president.


so ayan sila nung nag cacampaign, di pwede na walang picture kahit papaano.

so here comes my favorite part sa isang general elections... ang flag sweep at miting de avance. ako ang naging representative ng cbe for flag sweep meaning ako ang naghawak ng flag at nanguna tumakbo sa buong campus. hahaha. hindi ko talaga makakalimutan to.


ayan, ng nakaakyat na kami sa yuchengco. nagmadali kagad kami kasi baka maagawan kami ng kabila. apparently, may isang baklang nanggugulo sa amin nung time na yan. bwiset sya.


eto yung picture nung nag-aayos na for miting de avance. grr. muntik na din kami maagawan sa pwestong yan na kami lang talaga lagi ang nag-o-occupy.


this was me when the college of education CAP jielene sato was presenting their candidates. ako kasi nsa gitna, nagwawagayway ng tapat flag... angas eh no?

ang nakakainis lang sa format ngyon, nauna lahat ang santugon magsalita, tapos kami. mas maganda kasi yung alternate.. para nakikita ng lahat kung sino ang karapat-dapat. di ko lang alam kung bakit biglang nabago. bwiset. may isang nakakainis pala silang ginawa dito. nagsasalita si simoun ferrer, candidate namin for president, ng biglang tumayo lahat ng bading sa santugon at tumayo sa may isang tabi. nakaka insulto kasi ang bastos ng ginawa nila, eh nung sila nagsasalita nakikinig lang kami sa kanila. haaay. wala na akong sasabihin pang iba.

RTR, PTPC, Q&A at kung ano-ano pa. yan ang ginawa namin sa 8 araw na campaign. sobrang nakakapagod. yung tipong sumakit na ang buong hita ko at paa, na hindi na ako makalakad pa, pero sige tuloy pa rin. para sa mga lasalyano naman to eh. hehehe.

pagdating naman ng election proper, di pa natapos ang trabaho namin, dahil bantay boto naman ang ginawa namin. nakapag file ako ng electioneering case, pero salamat sa isang tao sa comelec, na dismiss siya. grrr. biased. anyway, yun nga, for 3 days bantay lang kami ng boto, at nga pala, hatak din ng boto para sa mga tinatamad bumoto. hehehe.

kung nasan ang camera, ayun, habol lang ng habol hmm... natutunan ko to sa Lasallian Ambassadors eh. hahaha. nadala ko ba daw sa tapat yung ganon. ako pa, syempre di ako papatalo sa ganyan. hahaha.

syempre, culminating activity namin ang victory party after bilangan. ganon kasi sa tapat, manalo/matalo, sama-sama lahat sa announcement, at tuloy-tuloy kasiyahan na rin. in fairness, pina-default namin lahat ng games namin sa araw na yun para lang dito. although ako, nag trabaho ako pa ako sa LAmb para sa mga campus tour. tapos pahinga then punta na kagad sa bahay ni army padilla.

i am proud to announce that nanalo si JOHN BELLOSILLO as our CAP for CBE. yeah! tapos sa BnE 2006, unfortunately, only NANCY CHUA won, and sa BnE 2007, sina MADEL BALANE, MEG CUASAY AND JORMAE CHUA ang mga nanalo. None of our BnE 2008 candidates won.

But still, winners pa rin sila for us. It's not their loss. It's the loss of their batch.

January 26, 2006 >>> Nag-resign si Mr. Austria bilang professor namin sa FINACMA. Dahil ito don sa issue na pagsingil namin ng P650 sa isang maliit na handout. Well, personally mali talaga yun, dahil masyadong over-priced talaga nung handout na yun. Sobrang naging big issue siya sa Financial Management Department na humantong nga sa ganito. We will be having our reimbursements and si Mr. Lawrence Co na ang papalit bilang professor.

La Salle Athletic League >>> Kumusta naman ang team namin dito… Mejo 7-0 na ang standing namin! Wahahah! Angas… 60th ENG na lang tlga ang kalaban naming sa championship at tatalunin namin sila! Wahhaha

Job Expo (January 30-February 3) >>> halos araw-araw nandito ako sa loob ng job expo para mag pasa ng mga resume sa mga companies at mga banks. Hahaha… so far, nag bank hopping na rin kami sa ayala sa makati para sa mga foreign banks. Sana talaga matanggap ako sa mga foreign banks, para OJT pa lang, may sweldo na… ahhahaha…

Jordan’s Debut sa World Renaissance Hotel (February 4, 2006) >>> so ala-reunion na naman to ng Lasallian Ambassadors 2k5 dahil lahat ng lambs ay nandito at nakikiparty sa 18th birthday ni jojojordi… hehehe… hmm… late ako nakipag meet kay boni (na kung saan sobrang furious nya, sori boni! Hahaha), tapos sabay kay anna papunta. And the rest is history.

After jordan’s party, boni and I went to ticky’s place sa ayala alabang village. Ayun, don ipinagpatuloy ang inuman. I won’t go further sa details kasi wat happened there stayed there only. Basta ang masasabi ko lang, exciting ang mga nangyari don. Nakauwi na ako 9am ng February 5… hahaha….

February 8, 2006 >>> sobrang ang sama ng loob ko sa nangyari na to. Haay. Pero gaya nga ng sabi ko, challenges lang to na bigay ni god, sakyan mo lang. He has better plans para sa akin. Gusto nya lang siguro ako may matutunan na important at makakapagpabago sa buhay ko. Bawi na lang sa susunod.

Zambales Trip para sa RELSFOR (February 11-12, 2006) >>> wahaha… astig tong relsfor trip naming to. February 10 pa lang, di na ako umuwi ng bahay dahil natulog na kami sa bahay ni CJ dahil maaga ang alis kinabukasan. Nag movie trip pa ako sa haus nila para hintayin si Jenny, habang si Vange ay ginagawa ang essay nya sa conadev. So come Saturday, we got up 3am para mag ayos, at umalis ng 4am. Ayon, sobrang road trip talaga kami. Ang nakakatawa ditto ako ang prinsipe nila dahil ako lang ang hindi marunong mag drive at ako lang ang nagiisang lalaki! Hahaha… nakadating na kami sa place (partida hindi kami nawala) 8am na, tamang-tama para kain. Sarap!

So ang ginawa naming sa first day, pinakita ang mga baboy, manok atbp na mga organic, meaning to say ang kinakain nila ay mga halaman din at hindi yung mga processed na pakain. Ang weird lang kasi ako sanay na ako sa mga ganito dahil sa indang, maraming ganito. Well mga anak mayaman kasi tong mga kaklase ko kaya ganon talaga.. hehehe…

So yun, natapos ang araw… tulog kami sa resort malapit sa farm. Naligo ako kagad kasi feeling ko ang dumi dumi ng katawan ko. Puro alikabok kasi eh. Maaga natulog sina cj at vange kaya kami ni jenny nagkwentuhan. Punyeta sabi na nga ba may multo don kasi iba rin ang pakiramdam ko. Si jenny nag freak out din… haha.. shet yan, natulog ako ng maaga, 930pm pa lang! akalain mo yun. Gising ng 7am para mag prepare na for the 2nd day…


Ayan, ang ginawa namin. Magtanim. Pero masaya.

So yan nga ginawa namin, maaga kami sumibat on the 2nd day para mag shopping sa duty free subic. Ayun, may nabili ako na tshirt na maganda costing $9.49, at ang palitan don ay P51.00 kaya mura… nakauwi na kami 10pm. Haaaaay.. nakakapagod talga, pero masaya. Lastly, malapit na ang General Elections. Sobrang nakakatakot lalo na with the recent events that happened sa tapat… pero kakayanin naming to. “it’s in the dark that the light shines the brightest…” we will win. Kung kya nga 72-0… basta tapat. Possible. Naks.

gela's debut, danz dish, sansan's birthday, for the kids 2006 atbp...

we are now on our 3rd week of classes... pero wala pa naman akong quizzes.. kaya naman nakakapag update pa ako ng blog ko... hehehe...

last jan 7, i went to gela's 18th birthday at ayala alabang... ok fine. pasaway ako kasi pinag intay ko pa sina bea with her mom and dad... nakakahiya tlga.. buti nalang mabait sila at hinintay pa rin ako kahit tumtakbo na ako sa madrigal avenue.. hehee... so yun, pagdating kina gela, ang nakita namin ay puro woodrose friends nya.. so mejo lang... haha... buti na lang sumunod na sina ken at jaloy, so kahit papaano 4 kami don na taga-lasalle... the party was great kasi laugh trip yung mga classmates ni gela... now i know that all girls institutions are naughty and kinky.. (btw,, the word kinky was used in the party for about 18 times!) here are some pics sa debut niya...

i just had my orientation last jan 9 for finspec aka special topics in finance. 0 unit course lang to... pero naman... di ka makakagraduate pag di mo tinake to... akala ko nung una, puro seminars lang... pero hindi pala... dito rin pala yung oral comprehensive exam... brrrr.... so kailangan karir to... gagalingan ko tlga.. ayoko madelay... hehehe.... after naman nyan, nung friday naman, orientation naman for the practicum... 200 hours ang kailangan to complete it... hmm.. im still thinking kung saan ako mag ojt... in fairness, through my finacma professor, napaisip ako na dapat sa mutinational bank ako magtatrabaho... kaya dapat gawin ko na yng mga resume ko... hehehe... bahala na... pero i'll make sure na sa magandang place ako magtatrabaho...

friday is a busy day nga pala for me. nung umaga, i went to school early kasi may campus tour para sa st. mary's university of nueva viscaya... so ayun... ok naman sila... grabe nga lang sila mag picture... mga camwhores din... wala ako pics with them.. kasi ako ang photographer. (haay) pero meron naman camwhore moments ang lamb... hanapin ko pa kay jordan.. hehehe... tapos kinagabihan naman ay danz dish, concert ng lsdc-street. astig.. ang galing nila... idol si gino.. yung frosh friend ko.. ang galing magsayaw... tapos after that... party naman...

andrew, enzo, cals, ba-be and me followed sa party ni sansan sa makati... so yun... thanks to sansan ang sarap tlga ng lasagna nila... favorite tlga yun.. and as usual inom na naman ng inom... funny thing was, naka ilang shots na naman ako ng cuervo at fundador... and still, di pa rin ako tinamaan... does that mean na tumaas na naman ang tolerance ko? hahaha...

so ayan... last kwento ko is yung for the kids... ayun, nag volunteer ako dito para maranasan ko naman ang pagiging kuya sa mga disabled... nasa skul na ako ng 715am... pero wala pala yung kid ko so may substitute... ang pangalan nya ay si edison. eddie for short... hehehe... sobrang saya ksama nitong batang to... kahit na sobrang mapapagod ka dahil hyperactive/mentally retarded siya ang saya pa rin... imagine, ang saya saya na nanalo siya ng 5 medals... 1 gold, 3 silvers, 1 bronze... astig di ba... ang saya tlaga.... sobrang sarap ng feeling na nakapag pasaya ka ng bata for 1 day... sayang nga lang, kasi may 2 nag shot sa amng 2, pero di ko alam kung san ko makukuha yun dahil di ko naman sila kilala... waah...

so eto pa lang naman ang recent events ko na naman... haay...busy na busy... pero masaya... alam nyo naman ako, di ako mabubuhay kung walang extra curricular activities... hehehe....

3rd term: a new beginning and of course.. the GE term...

its the start of the new term and as i always say, new term, new classmates, new professors... and take note, this is my 2nd to the last term... waaaaaaaah... this year na ako gagraduate... half-happy and half-sad kasi gusto ko na grumaduate na parang ayoko pa... sobrang mamimiss ko lasalle! hahaha...

anyway, tradition na para sa akin ang magbigay ng first impression sa aking mga professors...

>>> so for the nth time hindi na naman si bangcaya ang lumabas as we hav enrolled in. what a loser. so anyway, eto nga ang pumalit and honestly, mukha siyang mababa magbigay. tapos siya rin yung tipo ng professor na kailangan seryosohin mo ang relsfor... imagine, ang rule nya, kapag nakita ka nya nagtetext, minus 0.5 ka na sa final grade. and i mean LASALLE GRADE! wow! i know na bawal tlga yun, pero sobrang brutal talaga ang minus na yun... ang dami nyang sinulat... in fairness naman... pero parang eto yung rels subject na magugustuhan ko...ewan ko na lang... hehehe.

>>> yeah... its the famous dr. tullao of the college of business and economics... haay.. sa wakas may sobrang tino tlga ako na prof at bago man ako grumaduate, at least naging professor ko siya. parang ang loser pag di mo siya naging prof eh hehhehe.. so ayun. first day pa lang, tawa na kami ng tawa... the tullao towers, the acting lessons, atbp. laugh trip. pinakapaborito kong kwento as to this date, ay yung tungkol kay president gma when she was still a senator. basta... pakwento na lang kayo kung gusto nyo... i really really hope na totoo na mataas siya magbigay... 4.0 na ito!

>>> ok, eto yung CPA na hindi proud na CPA siya at ayaw nya ng accounting because he loves finance... hahaha... sinira nya tlga ang accounting sa amin... hahaha... natatawa na lang ako sa mga sinabi nya nong first day... he seems to be a nice person, may sense of humor (thanks god!), at mukhang astig din. i really really like the subject kaya sana wag nya sirain. pero siya naman tlga ang diyos ng finacma dahil siya lang nagtuturo nito... hahaha... i really hope that i will get high grades sa kanya...

syempre, di mawawla ang mga extra curricular activities ko: lasallian ambassadors, tapat, office of the treasurer, business and economics assembly, atbp. madaming trabaho tlga. pero ok lang, kasi i really love doing these kinds of jobs... ehhehe...
